GhM was engaged by the Whitney Museum of Art to design and install the projection and playback systems for Edges of Ailey, an exhibition to celebrate the life, dances, influences, and enduring legacy of visionary artist and choreographer Alvin Ailey.The ambitious exhibition design was anchored by an immersive 18-channel video installation overseen and implemented by GhM. The looped film, a dynamic montage of Ailey’s life and dances, was created by filmmakers Josh Begly and Kya Lou, with Curator Adrienne Edwards.
