Talking About Things / Darwin's Title Page

Greenhouse Media (GhM) produced a series of short documentary films for the American Philosophical Society Museum (APS). This documentary is the second in an ongoing series of film portraits of distinguished APS members told through the members' selection of objects, artworks and documents from the APS's amazing permanent collection.

This episode features APS member, evolutionary biologist and writer Keith Thomson discussing Charles Darwin's original design for the title page of On the Origin of Species. Other episodes include discussions of Lewis & Clark’s journals, and Benjamin Franklin's personal copy of the Constitution of the United States.
